Every good marriage, like a good car, needs to get maintenance and get refueled every now and then to keep the engine running. That are many ways to achieve that—most are done at home, through ongoing communication, prayer and… more communication. However, there are also times when it is beneficial for a married couple to hear from others, those who have built successful marital relationships that withstood the test of times and blossomed.
Every year, Kelso Church of Truth organizes a 3-day marriage retreat where couples can do just that—learn from each other and others on how to build a God-centered, love-filled marriage. This year the Retreat is going to take place at Chautauqua Lodge, Long Beach, WA.
Location: Chautauqua Lodge, Long Beach, WA.
Dates: November 20-22, 2009
Cost: $175 per couple [includes 2 breakfasts and lunch]
How to Register: contact me [Elena] at elena(dot)wilkins(at)gmail.com [please replace (dot) and (at) with actual key symbols], or Pastor Leo at the address you see on the right hand side of this blog, under Contact Us.
There are still a couple of spots left, so, if you are interested, make sure to contact us right away. Pastor Leo and others [including yours truly and my wonderful husband Demetrye] will cover various topics to help you strengthen your marriage.
Hope to see you there!
